I have been an avid fan of the Cinema all my life, and have worked in the British Film industry since I arrived in London.
My first job in film was in a small independent post production house in Soho. Midnight Transfer specialised in Telecine, the process of transferring film to video format, and color grading.
After a couple of years I left Midnight Transfer to take on a trainee job in a film cutting room and have not looked back.
I've gone from job to job and thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and variety of being freelance.
I've worked my way up through the various jobs in the cutting rooms - VFX Editor, first assistant Editor and Assembly Editor.
While working on different productions or between jobs I've taken on short films, working on some wonderful little projects with great directors.
As well as my practical years in the cutting room I have consulted with the Met Film school and the London International Film School, teaching MA students and mature students on Editing, Digital Workflow and Post Production.
I had the honor of being invited to join a panel of judges for the
UK Film Festival 2013
International Short Film Competition
